We’re so happy to announce that we have a wonderful new dental hygienist joining our team, Miss Joanne Yim!

Joanne began working in the dental field in 1998. She studied dentistry in the Philippines and practiced as a public health dentist until 2001. In 2015, she got her degree in dental hygiene at Chabot College in Hayward California.

For Joanne, the best part about her job is creating relationships with her patients. She loves to get to know them beyond their dental needs. And of course, it’s always rewarding to help them get on the path to better oral health. Joanne is excited to join the team at Live & Smile Dental & Orthodontics. “Everyone is so kind, sweet and friendly,” she says. “The respect and willingness to help each other is just amazing!”

Outside of work, Joanne is happily married with two teenage kids. She enjoys early morning walks with her pup, Pepper, and really enjoys being outdoors. We’re excited to welcome her to our team so if you see her around in the office, be sure to give her a warm welcome too!
